Diving Koh Phi Phi

Choose
SCUBA and snorkeling operations that are both environmentally aware, and promote the protection of Coral Reefs (Eco-tourism).
Buy dive equipment from companies that contribute to the protection of the marine environment. Learn more about the marine environment and it's sustainability.
Report any instance of bad practice that could cause degradation of the Coral Reef. For example a dive operation that uses anchors on Coral Reefs.
Never remove any shells, corals or fish from the sea (dead or alive).
Do not step on, kick or even touch Coral Reef.
Do not dispose of any rubbish (even bio-degradable) into the sea.
Do not purchase souvenirs made from Coral and other marine life. This is usually illegal and environmentally-unfriendly. If you see or suspect excessive abuse of international laws with regard to endangered species, contact TRAFIC, or look for Thailand on C.I.T.E.S directory page.
Avoid purchasing food from restaurants which serve any form of shark or any other endangered species.
