Phi Phi Dive Camp's difficulty ratings:

Difficulty1 - Good sheltered surface conditions, no currents, shallow sandy areas (<10m) - Suitable for diving tuition.

Difficulty 2 - Partly sheltered surface conditions, occasional mild currents, shallow site (<20m)- Suitable for novice divers.

Difficulty 3 - Sometimes difficult surface conditions, occasional currents, max depth 30m - Suitable for divers (+20 dives) with local guide.

Difficulty 4 - Exposed dive site, often currents, no 'wall' (>30m) - Suitable for experienced divers with local knowledge.

Difficulty 5 - Difficult entry/exit, strong currents, dive site deeper than 50m - Suitable for experienced divers with correct equipment and contingency plans .
