Coral Identification

This course will be available from September 2006.


The aim of the coral Identification course is to familiarise the student with one of the planets most important animals and the building blocks they create. This course will enable divers to identify different families of coral, and their importance on the reef.

On successful completion of course:

Students will have a good working understanding of coral reef structures.

Students will be able to identify the main families of coral and their role in the reef.

Student must:

Be aged at least 14 years at the start of the course.

Hold a full, valid dive license.
Have 20 or more logged dives.
